Since fat injection is a natural method, it is the most preferred method. This method also provides getting rid of unwanted fat in another part of the body. The difference between the injection method and the prosthesis is that a part of the adipose tissue is approximately lost 1.5 years after the surgery. Additional injection can be applied depending to the patient’s desire and the sufficiency reserve fat in the body.
The other method is known as butt prosthesis surgery, which has a healing period longer than the injection method. Butt prothesis is performed by an incisional pocket creation in both buttocks. These pockets on the butt muscles are attached to a harder silicone prosthesis than those used for the breast. Although butt prosthesis is a more laborious operation, the result is more permanent.
How long does the surgery take?
Fat injection, which is a simple procedure, takes about 1 hour. Whereas Butt prosthesis surgery is completed in 2.5-3 hours.
